Christmas in Quebec City is one of the best places in the world to be during the holidays!

Just about anywhere you go you’re bound to run into a whole lot of Christmas spirit and there are lights, Christmas trees, wreaths, and large displays throughout both the upper and lower parts of the Old Town.

It’s really in the Quartier Petit Champlain That the city really shines when it comes to the Christmas spirit that you’re looking for.

The entire neighborhood is full of Christmas lights and other decorative displays and it kind of feels like you’re walking through a movie set with how well everything is decorated and lit up.

Right in the center at the Place Royale You’ll be able to find a large Christmas tree and this area is definitely some where you’re going to want to visit in Quebec City at Christmas time during the night what are you can take full advantage of the Christmas displays.

It was made even better with all of the snow on the ground and being there right before Christmas in late December I don’t think I could have asked for a better experience for enjoying the holidays.

As for the city itself, Quebec City is a beautiful place and very easy to walk around whether it’s nighttime or daytime.

I recommend staying somewhere in the upper part of the old town as this is where you will find most of the popular tourist sites and just make sure to spend a few hours exploring the lower area so that you’re able to enjoy most of what the city has to offer.
